Escape Rooms to open at UWSP at Marshfield
For Hub City Times
MARSHFIELD – UW-Stevens Point at Marshfield Continuing Education will open Marshfield’s first-ever Escape Rooms on June 27.
Escape Rooms are one-hour, theme-based challenges, in which a team must work together to find clues to solve puzzles, crack codes, and unlock locks to ultimately complete a mission before time runs out. UWSP at Marshfield is set to open three rooms – “The Missing Patient,” “Project Save Graduation,” and “The Mysterious Forest.”
“The Missing Patient” takes place in the Campus’ CNA Lab complete with a medical theme. The goal is to find clues to reveal the missing patient’s whereabouts on campus.
In “Project Save Graduation,” the mission is to break into the Dean’s Office and put her clicker back in its secret hiding spot in order to save graduation.
“The Mysterious Forest” is built for groups of eight of more and is an ideal retreat for co-workers, friends, and families. Taking place in the campus Arboretum, this particular escape room isn’t staged in a room at all.
Rooms are available Thursday and Friday evenings and Saturday afternoons and evenings.
Escape Rooms are open to the public and to organizations for professional development purposes. For more information, call 715-389-6520. Register online at www.uwsp.edu/marshfield/conted or call 715-346-3838
