Marshfield Police Blotter: June 6 – June 9, 2019

On June 6 at 1 p.m. two Marshfield residents reported that their mailboxes had been knocked down. The two mailboxes, which had been on the same post on Anton Avenue in Marshfield, had both been struck and had fallen to the ground. No vehicle debris was found at the scene and there are no suspects at this time.
June 8, 2019
On June 8 at 3:43 a.m. it was reported that there was a male who was wandering around in the nude in the middle of the intersection of West Arnold Street and St. Joseph’s Avenue in Marshfield. The 21-year-old male appeared under the influence of a controlled substance and he was transported first to the Marshfield Medical Center before being taken to Wood County Jail.

K-9 sniffs out meth
On June 9 at 2:57 a.m., a traffic stop was conducted, during which the driver and passenger appeared to be impaired by a controlled substance. A K-9 unit was walked around the vehicle and picked up the odor of a controlled substance. Inside, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were found. As a result, a 36-year-old Owen female and a 35-year-old Marshfield male were arrested.
