Wenzel Family Plaza offers summer programming

For Hub City Times

MARSHFIELD – The following events are scheduled this summer at the Wenzel Family Plaza, Downtown Marshfield:

Lunch in the Plaza: Thursdays & Fridays in June, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Grab some lunch to go from Marshfield’s downtown eateries or take advantage of a local vendor in the plaza, with live music on Thursdays.

Game Night in the Plaza: Thursdays at 7 p.m. Held during Downtown’s Your Thursdays – nights of extended downtown business hours and special shopping promotions. Game Night in the Plaza offers family gaming fun in the plaza.

Plaza Saturdays: June 8 – Sept. 28, 8-9 a.m. Plaza Saturdays include morning Yoga in the Plaza from Off the Mat Yoga from and activities in the Kids Zone for the little ones.

Church in the Plaza: On June 9, enjoy a morning of music, vendors, and two services hosted by North Ridge Church. The event is open to the public.

Family Event:  June 14, 5-8:30 p.m. Bring the whole family to plaza to enjoy live music, games, and an outdoor movie, playing at dusk.

Hub City Days Fun in the Plaza: On July 27, enjoy performances and demonstrations by local studios and a talent show.

Farm to Table: On Aug. 17. Enjoy fresh, local, farm-to-table dinner – a ticketed event – in the plaza.

Oktoberfest:  Sept. 7. Put on your lederhosen, it’s time for a truly traditional German celebration at the plaza. Enjoy live music, amazing beer, authentic food – brats, pretzels, and more – and other Oktoberfest fun.

Downtown Friday Nights: In collaboration with the Chestnut Center for the Arts offers live music on Friday nights. For more information, visit www.facebook.com/downtownfridaynightsmfld.
