PITTSVILLE – The Pittsville Area Community Theater has announced the cast for the summer production of “House for Sale,” under the direction of Steve Allar.

The play takes place in the late 1960s, featuring Glen Martin, played by Greg Jackan.  Glen is a senior citizen who is in failing health. His daughter Helen, played by Jonni-Rae Binder Grancorvitz, is worried about her father and is insisting he sell his house and move in with her and her husband in the city.

Glen, of course, does not want to give up his home or freedom.  Glen’s friend Max, played by Westley Reshel, backs Glen and vows to look after him. Helen brings in a real estate agent, Mr. Goodsell, played by Chris Michalski, to list his house.

Glen comes up with a plan to bring in a roommate to please Helen.  Once the prospective roommates start to appear is when the hilarity begins. Prospective roommates are Gary, played by Carver Empey; Kate, played by Amber Bean Guldan; Chuck, played by Josh Wecker; Fanny, played by Rebecca Niese and Nancy Halterman; Apostle, played by Andrew Spencer; Sylvia, played by Jo Lea Binger; and Faye, played by Holly Allar Beehn.

Show dates are July 18-20, at 7 p.m., and July 21, at 2 p.m. For more information, contact Steve at 715-305-0087 or find the PACT on Facebook.
