Nancy A. Ulrich

Nancy Ann Ulrich, age 85, of Stratford, Wisconsin went home to the Lord on Saturday, May 11, 2019.
Nancy was born in Edgar, Wisconsin on August 3, 1933 to George and Marie Fergot. She graduated from Edgar High School and became a bookkeeper. Nancy worked in various locations including Dallas, Texas and Milwaukee, Wisconsin after graduation until 1964. Nancy married Fritz Ulrich on December 28, 1963 and in 1964 returned to Stratford, Wisconsin. She then joined the Stratford School District where she fulfilled the bookkeeping duties for 33 years until her retirement in 1997.
Nancy enjoyed giving to others, spending time with family, reading, traveling, viewing nature, celebrating her Irish heritage and participating in the Lady’s Aid at Ebenezer United Church of Christ. Her favorite place was the cottage in Tomahawk, Wisconsin where she enjoyed countless campfires, cook outs and pontoon rides. Nancy cherished her grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Devin Ulrich, and spent as much time with them as possible.
Nancy is survived by her husband Fritz, son Jon (Charmaine) Ulrich, grandchildren Devin and Kaitlyn Ulrich, brother Billy (Sylvia) Fergot, brother Bobby (Joyce) Fergot, brother Sam (Mary) Fergot, sister-in-law Lois (Gordy) Fergot, brother-in-law Bob (Donetta) Ulrich, and sister-in-law Bonnie (Pat) Buchberger. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, sister Margie (Bob) Palmiteer, brother George Jr. (Doris) Fergot, sister Edith (Bill) Moore, brother Roy Fergot, and brother Gordy Fergot.
A special thank you to Country Terrace of Stratford for their compassionate care as Nancy’s Alzheimers progressed and also to the Hospice Care program.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 18 at Ebenezer United Church of Christ in Stratford, Wisconsin, where the visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until time of service. Rev. Doris Ruben will officiate. Nancy will be laid to rest immediately following the service at the Ebenezer Cemetery.
