MARSHFIELD – The Highground Veterans Memorial Park, Neillsville, will host a helicopter, military, and tribute expo on May 18.

At approximately 9 a.m., weather permitting, a UH-1H Huey helicopter will land at the Highground. This is one of the very few flyable UH-1H helicopters left in the United States. Another Huey will be available as a static display for visitors to enter and explore.

Several vintage military vehicles will be exhibited at the Highground, along with Karl’s Transport semi trailer, which is dedicated to the memory of Ryan Jopek, KIA Iraq, and the military tribute tractor trailer from Service 1 join the Expo.

The Helicopter and Military Vehicle Expo will run 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., with the UH-1H Huey departing around 2 p.m.

The Highground is located at W7031 Ridge Rd, Neillsville. For more information, call 715-743-4224 or email [email protected].
