Urlaub, Wenzel Plaza recognized during state Main Street Awards

MADISON – The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) recognized 2018 downtown revitalization projects, volunteers, and staff, during the 28th Wisconsin Main Street Awards ceremony held April 26 at the Heyde Center in Chippewa Falls.
Among those honored were Marshfield’s Rhonda Urlaub as one of the eight Volunteers of the Year from around the state. Main Street Marshfield also collected the Best Public Improvement Project for Wenzel Family Plaza.
Wisconsin Main Street is a community development program administered by WEDC that targets Wisconsin’s historic commercial districts. WEDC provides technical support and training to the 34 Main Street communities to help them revitalize their business districts based on guidelines developed by the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
