MCHS/MACY offer Just Look Up-Screen Free Week program
For Hub City Times
MARSHFIELD – Just Look Up-Screen Free Week is a national celebration hosted locally by Marshfield Clinic Health System Center for Community Health Advancement and Marshfield Area Coalition for Youth (MACY)-Mental Health Workgroup; it takes place April 29-May 5.
The average person spends 90 percent of their time indoors and adults average 10 hours of screen-time a day.
Communities around the country will organize events designed to help youth turn off screens to connect with family, friends, nature, and their creativity.
Each day of the week special activities are offered free to the public. To learn more, visit https://ccha.marshfieldclinic.org/screen-free-week/events/7days/. Plan for the week by downloading all the information you need to get started. Print pledge cards or pick them up at the Everett-Roehl Public Library, 105 S. Maple Avenue, Marshfield to obtain free and reduced fee goodies around town.
