Packer players surprise MHS students

MARSHFIELD – The Green Bay Packers added a surprise stop on their current tailgate tour April 10, as they pulled into Marshfield High School.
Several players spoke to an all-school assembly about things like accountability and commitment.
Former offensive lineman Scott Wells also spoke to the students about perseverance, using the Packers’ 2010 Super Bowl run as an example.
Team President and CEO Mark Murphy also presented MHS Athletic Director Nathan Delaney with a check for $2,500.
The players also threw out autographed Nerf footballs before heading to stops in Tomah and Sparta. The Tailgate Tour features Wells, and former running back Ryan Grant.
Also on the tour this year is Earl Dotson, Aaron Kampman, and Bernardo Harris.
