Blanche B. Toltzman

Blanche B. Toltzman, age 93, of Spencer, WI., passed away on Friday, December 21, 2018 at Bland-Bekkedal Hospice Center in Viroqua, WI.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Spencer.  Pastor Rebekah Tarras will officiate.  Burial will follow at St. John’s Cemetery in the Town of Brighton.  Lunch will be served at the church.

Blanche was born on January 31, 1925 in Halsey, Marathon Co., Wisconsin to William and Alvina Rinehart. On June 5, 1943 Blanche married the love of her life, Raymond Toltzman.  Together they had three sons.  Blanche and her husband, Ray, owned and operated a farm in Spencer for many years.  She worked at Land O Lakes for 14 years.  Blanche and Ray enjoyed bowling, cards and traveling together.  They were life-long members of St. John’s Lutheran Church.

Blanche is survived by her two sons, Dale (Candace) Toltzman of Viroqua and Gregory Toltzman of Viroqua; 5 grandsons, 10 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Blanche is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; her parents, William and Alvina Rinehart; her 3 brothers and 4 sisters; and their son, Terrance.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to St. John’s Lutheran Church in Spencer.
