Tigers take D.C. Everest in track & field

MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield Tigers boys’ track & field team won a dual meet with D.C. Everest on April 4 at the Marshfield High School Fieldhouse. The Tigers beat the Evergreens 209-156.

Sam Hinson, overall meet winner, took first place in the 220 and the 440. Logan Mechler finished in first place in the 60, while Henry Hoerneman won the 880 and Carter Chojhacki won the 1,600. Kyle Tremelling grabbed first place in the 60 hurdles, while Matthew Donovan won the high jump, Adam Maki the pole vault, Joey Goettl the long jump, and Anthony Posteluk the triple jump.

Two Tiger relay teams also finished first in their events. The team of Bradley Dickinson, Garrett Holland, Blaine Neinast, and Jackson Ott won the 4×160 relays. A team consisting of Myles Jensen, James Ketterer, David McKee, and Michael Wright finished in first place in the 4×880 relay.
