Tiger baseball team on win streak

MARSHFIELD – After going 0-4 over Spring Break at the ESPN Wide World of Sports complex at Disney World in Orlando, FL, the Marshfield Tigers baseball team has won three in a row.
The Tigers won two games at the DeForest Triangular on April 6. Marshfield opened with a win over Fort Atkinson, beating the Blackhawks 11-2. Will Voss was the winning pitcher, throwing all seven innings while giving up two runs on six hits. He walked two batters and recorded four strikeouts.
Marshfield also beat DeForest 7-1. Logan Schreiner was the winning pitcher for the Tigers, who scored five runs in the first inning to grab the early lead. They scored another run in their half of the second inning and one more in the fourth.
On April 5, the Tigers started their three-game winning streak with a 15-3 win at Tomah. Mason Coffren was the winning pitcher. He threw five innings and gave up three earned runs on four hits while walking six and striking out three. At the plate, Coffren had a base hit and an RBI. Isaiah Baierl had a single and a home run. Ben Gust had two singles, a double, and two runs batted in. Preston Wagner led the Tiger hit parade with four singles and an RBI. Brant Bohman added two singles and drove in a pair of runs.
