Auburndale area group aids Nebraska farmers

Auburndale Relief Trip

BLENKER — A convoy of trucks and trailers headed out from the Swetz Country Corner Mart in Blenker April 5 to take aid to Nebraska farmers hit by flooding. Among other items, the group is taking down bagged wood shavings for bedding, bags of lime for barn alleys and several miles of fencing to replace some of what was washed away by the floodwaters. Auburndale schools assisted with the collection.

Students in Auburndale have helped organize the relief mission. Freshman Morgan Raab got involved:
