Yard Waste Collection

For Hub City Times

MARSHFIELD – The city of Marshfield is offering several opportunities to help local residents with brush, branches, yard waste, leaves and leftover Christmas tree removal.

Yard waste and leaf collection begins April 8 and brush, branch, and leftover Christmas tree collection starts April 22.

Collection times will correspond with current garbage collection schedules.

Yard waste and leaves must be enclosed in a brown paper bag, or reusable container, and separated from garbage collection. Brush and branches must be bundled no bigger than one foot in diameter and no longer than four feet.

The city also provides a 24-hour compost site every day of the week to drop off these items at no charge. For more information or a complete collection schedule, visit http://ci.marshfield.wi.us/ or call 715-486-2081.
