MARSHFIELD – The Chestnut Center for the Arts is hosting a special kick-off for their annual fundraising campaign – Art Champions Campaign fundraiser. The campaign helps provide a wide variety of quality art experiences to the community.

“The Chestnut Center for the Arts, like so many other non-profit organizations, has been negatively affected by the change in tax law regarding charitable deductions,” organizers said. “For this reason, it is imperative that this year’s annual Art Champions Campaign is successful.”

The kick-off event will be held on April 6, starting at 7 p.m., with an opening reception for an “Invited Artists Exhibit” in the gallery, followed by a concert by Copper Box at 7:30 p.m.  Copper Box is an innovative Americana musical group renowned for their interactive and engaging style.  Tickets for the concert are available at Chestnutarts.org, under events or performances, or by calling 715-389-8999.
