MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield Softball Association (MSA) will hold a league meeting on April 8 at Five-O-One Sports Bar, 501 S. Washington Avenue, Marshfield, to organize for the 2019 season.

The MSA Board of Directors will meet at 6:30 p.m.; women’s and co-ed teams meet at 7 p.m.; and men’s teams meet at 7:45 p.m. The meetings are for league managers, umpires, and all interested in slow pitch softball in Marshfield. Men’s teams begin play on May 14; co-ed teams open play on May 16; and women’s teams begin May 30.

MSA is also considering an eight-week, fall wooden bat league that would compete on Tuesday evenings, beginning Sept. 3. Three teams are already committed to the league, in which the MSA would provide bats, and entry fees would be low. This year’s Dairyfest Co-Ed and men’s tournaments will take place May 31-June 2. The Marshfield Invitational Tournament is scheduled for Aug. 9-11.
