Marshfield has no contested races, McMillan has three

MARSHFIELD – The city of Marshfield will see no contested races in the April 2 election. Kenneth Bargender is running unopposed for the District Four seat being given up by incumbent Gordy Earll, while incumbents Nick Poeschel, Tom Witzel, Rebecca Spiros and Peter Hendler are all running unopposed.

In the town of McMillan, Chairperson Carolyn Opitz is being challenged by Debbie Derfus. Four others are running for two supervisor positions; Incumbent David Swenson is running, along with three challengers – Gary L. Franz, Steven Ziemba, and Mike Joyce.

In the town of Spencer, three people are running for two seats. They are Dennis Foth, Jerry Schmitz, and Carl Hoff.
