Faith Lutheran serves the community

MARSHFIELD – On March 3, Faith Lutheran Church took their hands, feet, voice, heart, and spirit into the community to provide for others through service.
The congregation participated in service projects around the Marshfield community. The service projects were completed for God’s Work Our Hands – a dedicated day of service in the community “to spread God’s Work.”
Over 130 members, including Sunday school children, participated in service projects. The Sunday school children participated in rotations that lasted 15 minutes each, including making Personal Care Kits and Spring Activity Kits, as well as items that were given to the Marshfield fire and police departments.
Adults in the congregation helped clean the Hannah Center, provided entertainment at assisted living centers, and helped clean the Chestnut Center. Other members used their hands to knit and crochet knockers, to be donated to the Marshfield Clinic for breast cancer survivors. Other cooked meals for PDC/Orenda Center and Mary’s Place, as well as the Hope Lodge.
