Holland claims two state championships
Marshfield gymnastics takes eighth

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Marshfield’s Gracie Holland claimed two state championship titles during WIAA Division state gymnastics competition at Lincoln High School, Wisconsin Rapids, on March 2.
Holland placed No. 1 in all around competition with a score of 37.267, placing fifth in the uneven bars with a 9.317, tying for sixth in floor exercise with a 9.267, and placing eighth on the balance beam with a 9.117. Gracie grabbed the championship in vaulting with a 9.567.
Marshfield’s Emma Haugen also competed in state vaulting competition, claiming the 19th spot with an 8.867.
Haugen, Holland, and the Marshfield gymnastics team also competed in the Division 1 team championships on March 1, placing eighth out of 10 teams with a score of 131.3167.
Holland was high on the balance bean with 9.0, uneven bars with 9.25, and vaulting with 9.267. Haugen was high in floor exercise with 8.833.
