Mysterious branch trimming

On Feb. 19 at 12:29 p.m., a Biron woman reported that there was an unknown person trimming tree branches in the woods on her property. The woman stated that there wasn’t supposed to be anyone on the property and requested that a deputy come and help her.

Truck on fire

On Feb. 19 at 7:34 p.m., a Port Edwards male reported that there was a truck that was on fire. The man stated that the truck in question was on County Highway AA in Port Edwards and that the truck was insured.

Stolen Checkbook

On Feb. 21 at 4:51 p.m., a Wisconsin Rapids male reported that someone had stolen his checkbook. The man further confirmed that the checkbook had been used and his signature had been forged at a bar in the county, but the man did not know the name of the bar.

February 22, 2019

It’s raining cats and logs

On Feb. 22 at 7 a.m., a Rudolph male reported that a log had fallen off of a truck carrying logs and had hit their vehicle. The man stated that there was damage to the front right wheel and the bottom of the tire bumper but that there was no plate or name on the truck and that they only wanted it on the record at this time.

A possible electrocution

On Feb. 23 at 10:33 a.m., it was reported by a Port Edwards resident that there was a male subject who had possibly been electrocuted. The complaint stated that the man received third degree burns and an ambulance was requested.

February 24, 2019

Missing Son

On Feb. 24 at 12:35 a.m., a Lincoln woman reported that her son had gone missing. The woman stated that she did not know what he was wearing, but that he was last seen at noon and had left at 7 a.m. that same day with no cell phone.

Getting physical

On Feb. 24 at 10:25 p.m., a Richfield woman reported that a female resident was being physical with her caregiver and was throwing things. The complaint states that the resident repeatedly attempted to leave the house and had no weapons.
