MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield School District announced Feb. 14 that it has tentatively developed its strategy for handling the half dozen severe weather days of early 2019.

According to the plan, lunch periods at the high school will be shortened by five minutes starting Feb. 25.

Also in the plan, two early dismissal days in April – April 5 and April 19 – will be converted to full days. June 6-7 will also serve as full days, with June 7 scheduled as the final day of school.

The district plan also states that further cancellations may alter this plan, possibly extending the school year.
