Mary A. Elliott, age 83, of Marshfield, formerly of Lindsey, passed away at home  on Thursday, January 24, 2019 with loving care provided by her daughter for the past five years.

Family and friends are welcome from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 pm. on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at the Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford.  A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 pm.  Pastor Devere Thornton will officiate. Interment to follow at the Colby Memorial Cemetery in Colby.

Mary was born on August 16, 1935, the daughter of James and Viola (Thompson) Homer in Peoria Heights, IL. She was united in marriage to Jerold Buddinger on February 13, 1960 and later to Robert Elliott on May 5, 1979.

Mary attended Peoria Heights Elementary and High School in Peoria, IL, then later on moved to Wisconsin and attended Woodruff High School and Westboro High School. Mary worked for Weyerhauser, Service Master, and Fleming/Godfrey (which later became to be known as Hub City Foods) in Marshfield and cleaned the coach buses for the Marshfield Bus Service.
Mary was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in both Marshfield and Wausau. She enjoyed embroidery, gardening, reading, watching the Packers and listening to music; especially gospel.

Mary is lovingly survived by her children: James Buddinger of Hewitt, Margaret Wolf of Wausau and Timothy Buddinger of  Las Vegas, NV; three grandchildren: Christina (Anthony) Drews of Sheboygan, James Buddinger of Lindsey and Austin Weister of Wausau; and one great granddaughter, Scarlett Drews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her two husbands and two twin brothers, Ernest and Arthur Homer.
