MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield gymnastics team set another record during their 137.275-117.575 win against Antigo on Jan. 15 at Marshfield High School.

Marshfield’s Gracie Holland took top scores in all around competition, by taking the first spots in floor exercise, vaulting, balance beam, and uneven bars. Emma Haugen was right behind her, taking second in all four events, snagging second in all around.

Ally Bakke took third in floor exercise, while Brooke McGrath tied for fourth and Sophie Nikolay placed seventh.

Kim Backhaus placed third in vaulting, while McGrath grabbed fourth and Nikolay tied for fifth.

On the balance beam, Shantel Nienast took third, as Vivian Nikolai tied for fifth and Hanna Merkel took eighth.

Nienast also took fourth on the uneven bars and Merkel placed sixth. Alexis Mushel grabbed seventh in the event, while Backaus, McGrath, Nikolay, and Nikolai tied for tenth.
