Local students earn honors at collegiate level

UW-Whitewater announces Dean’s List

WHITEWATER – Matt Blanchard, Nathan Carlson, and Tess Duncan were named to the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Dean’s List for the 2018 fall semester. These students have demonstrated their academic abilities by receiving a grade point average of 3.4 or above in a single semester.

Area students named to fall 2018 Dean’s List at Ripon College

RIPON – Ripon College has announced its Dean’s List for the fall 2018 semester, recognizing academic excellence. To qualify for the Dean’s List at Ripon College, students must achieve a 3.40 grade point average or higher on a 4.00 scale and complete at least 12 credits of regular letter-graded work.

Claire Greenlee, class of 2020 at Ripon College, studying Psychology Sociology, has been named to the fall 2018 Dean’s List. Greenlee is the child of Robert and Joanne Greenlee, Marshfield.

Madira Hall, class of 2021 at Ripon College, studying Chemistry Sociology Criminal Justice, has been named to the fall 2018 Dean’s List. Hall is the child of Matthew and Cheryl Hall, Marshfield.

Local students make Carthage College Dean’s List

KENOSHA – Benjamin Alt, Shannon Hagman, and Tyler Meyer are among 1,022 who made the Carthage College Dean’s List for the fall 2018 semester.

Dean’s list honors are accorded to Carthage students who achieve a minimum 3.5 grade-point average while carrying at least 14 credit hours during a semester.

Area residents make the President’s List at Western Technical College

LA CROSSE – The following local residents were named to the Western Technical College President’s List of High Distinction for the Fall 2018 term. To be included on the President’s List, students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or higher and carry 12 or more credits in an associate’s degree or technical diploma program. Earning the achievement are Bradley Cherney and Mitchel Wilhelm.
