Mission Nutrition to open in Marshfield’s downtown
For the Hub City Times
MARSHFIELD — If you think “healthy” and “nutritional” mean kale and prune juice, Marshfield’s newest business is set to change your mind in a hurry.
Mission Nutrition is geared to become a place where you can enjoy a “healthy meal replacement shake that tastes like ice cream and is packed with the nutritional fuel you need to keep focused and energized throughout the day” in a welcoming atmosphere.
“Nutrition doesn’t have to be boring. As we renovated the space for Mission Nutrition, we thought a lot about how to create an atmosphere of positivity and excitement,” said business owner Nicole Bird. “We want people to come here to hang out and get healthy together.”
Located on West Second Street, across from the Wenzel Family Plaza, Mission Nutrition will offer an exciting, high-energy atmosphere where you can get a three-course nutritional punch for breakfast or lunch – a concept that fits right into the plans for Bird’s new landlords, Erin and Chris Howard.
“When we bought the Hotel Charles building, our goal was to recruit businesses that complement the activities taking place across the street in the plaza. Nicole’s new business will certainly do that,” said Chris.
While Bird’s Mission Nutrition is her first experience as a business owner, she has many years of experience with a similar Eau Claire business.
“My Eau Claire team has been so supportive of me as I start this new adventure,” said Bird. “I’m so excited to bring our philosophy to Marshfield. Yes, Mission Nutrition is about health and nutrition. But it’s more about fun. Here people can sit at the bar, listen to great music, hang with friends, and enjoy a guilt-free shake that taste like ice cream.”
Mission Nutrition will open for business on Jan. 21 at 111A West Second Street, Marshfield. To learn more, contact Nicole Bird at 715-308-5775, or find her on Facebook at facebook.com/marshfieldmission.
