MARSHFIELD – Marshfield Clinic Health System (MCHS) and Marshfield Area Coalition for Youth (MACY) in collaboration with Unified School District and Columbus Catholic Schools will host International Youth motivational speaker, Joe Beckman on Jan. 31.

Joe has spoken in over 1,500 schools around the world on Human Connections Matter. “Our schools are experiencing an unprecedented shift,” Beckman said. “Student loneliness is at an all-time high, while self-worth and a sense of belonging are at all-time lows. And the culprit is lack of human connection…It’s only when we stop and slow down, separate from our screens and truly listen to each other’s stories, that we can course correct and give our youth the best chance to leave their mark on the world.”

The event will take place Jan. 31, 5:30-7:30pm at the Marshfield High School, Commons and Auditorium, 1401 E. Becker Rd., Marshfield.

Enjoy a free boxed dinner while listening to the Marshfield High School Jazz band, from 5:30-6 p.m., with the presentation at 6 p.m.
