Harvey Ray Klawitter, age 73, was called to be with the Lord on December 17, 2018.
A memorial service will be held at Faith Lutheran Church, 207 South Cherry Avenue, Marshfield on Thursday, December 20, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Gisele Berninghaus officiating. Burial will take place at a later date. Visitation for family and friends will be one hour before the time of service at the church.
Harvey was born in Colby, WI in 1945 to Ted and Myrtle (Hoisen) Klawitter. They moved to Marshfield WI, were they farmed. Harvey moved to Hills, MN and worked as a welder before coming back to Marshfield and married Barbara Anderson in 1975. He worked at the Canning Factory and then Weinbrenner Shoes from 1986 to 2008 as a pieceworker. He enjoyed fishing and camping. He suffered a major stroke in May 2010 and had resided at Clark County Health Care center for the remainder of his life.
He is presided in death with his father Theodore, mother Myrtle, sister Iona (Hanson), and brother Roy Klawitter.
He is survived by his wife Barbara, of Marshfield, daughter Jessica (Daniel) Wolf and their children Jasmine, Makayla, Brendon, Hunter and Zachary of Greenwood, brothers Alvin Klawitter of Pewaukee, WI, Ervin (Patricia) Klawitter of Tuscon AZ, sister Norma Haske of Wisconsin Rapids and step daughters Lynn (Charlie) Reigel of Granton, WI, and Karen Fick of Algoma, WI.
