December 4
Assault reported
At 6 p.m., a Marshfield woman reported that on Nov. 28 her daughter – a 25-year-old Marshfield woman had been the victim of an assault at a Marshfield department store. The police officer was able to view video of the incident and will be talking to the suspect.
December 7
Woman arrested after hosting underage party
At 9:46 p.m., an employee of a Marshfield hotel called to report a possible underage alcohol party in one of their rooms. Police arrived and a 43-year-old Marshfield woman, who was hosting the party, was arrested for resisting/obstructing an officer, habitual criminality, and domestic charges.
Woman refuses to leave
At 4:48 p.m., a Marshfield man called to report that a 46-year-old Marshfield woman, who is the mother of his child, was refusing to leave his property after being asked to several times. Officers arrived and spoke with the woman. She was found in violation of a CHIPS petition by refusing to leave. She was also out on bond for a previous arrest. She was booked and taken to the Wood County Jail.
December 8
Erratic driver arrested for drugs
At 1:15 p.m., a Marshfield police officer responded to a driving complaint in which a vehicle had run a red light at a high rate of speed, almost hitting the person who called in the complaint. The officer went to the address where the car parked, and a 45-year-old Marshfield man was taken into custody for multiple drug-related charges.
December 9
Man reports suspicious activity
At 3:04 p.m., a Marshfield man reported that over the past 3-4 weeks he has noticed people taking property from a neighboring residence. That afternoon he witnessed a man load items from the house into his vehicle. The matter is still under investigation.
