MARSHFIELD – Simplicity Credit Union has pledged $47,500 to the Marshfield Area Community Foundation to help complete fundraising for the planned improvements on the Marshfield School District’s athletic facilities.

“Many of us were student athletes,” said Ben Bauer, Simplicity vice president of marketing, “and the lesson we learned about teamwork and leadership that came from participating in a sport made us who we are.”

The Marshfield School District has nearly reached the $7 million goal to finance the construction of the athletic complex for the 2019-2020 school year, many Marshfield businesses have come forward with donations.

“It’s gratifying to be able to work together with the Marshfield community,” said Sarah Arnoldy, Simplicity vice president of service,” especially on a project that will be of such a great benefit to the area.”
