Columbus boys grab Cranberry Classic title

WISCONSIN RAPIDS — The Columbus Dons boys edged out the University School of Milwaukee, 92-85, on Nov. 24 to claim their third Cranberry Classic title in four years.

Noah Taylor was high scorer for Columbus with 28 and Jarred Mandel was close behind with 27. Bryce Fuerlinger added 21 and Ethan Meece had 14.

Noah Taylor and Jarred Mandel were also all-tournament selections.

Nekoosa took third place, beating Assumption 50-48, in a game that came down to free throws.
