November 6

Loud neighbor report

At 12:58 p.m., a Port Edwards woman called to report that her upstairs neighbor was pounding on the floors again. Deputies arrived and explained it is not a violation of rules, but also explained to both residents that they need to be more respectful and neighborly towards each other in the future.

Up a creek

At 4:09 p.m., a man called to report that there was a paddleboat floating in Lake Dexter. It did not appear that anyone was in the boat. Deputies arrived and attempted to contact neighboring houses to find the owner of the paddleboat.

November 9

Yelling for help

At 11 p.m., a deputy spoke with a town of Lincoln woman who stated she left an area where a male was in a field yelling for help. She also stated a group showed up with bats and knives. Deputies began searching the area. The woman finally made contact with her son who stated a friend had fallen into some water in the back of the residence but that they were able to get him out.

November 10

Horse stolen

At 10:06 a.m., a 22-year-old Saratoga woman called to report her horse was taken and not returned. The woman had the horse listed for sale and an interested party came and looked at the horse and asked to take it to the vet to be checked out. The Saratoga woman agreed. The interested party took the horse but now refuses to bring it back.

Lightning rods check up

At 11:16 a.m., a township of Dexter woman reported that a man had stopped by her residence earlier that morning stating he wanted to check out the lightning rods on the house, as they were under warranty. The woman did her research before calling the sheriff’s office and believes she knows who it was. Deputies contacted the suspect and found it was his brother. Both men were warned.

Road rage

At 4:48 p.m., a man called to report that while driving in the township of Lincoln he attempted to pass a truck pulling a trailer. While passing the truck, the truck started swerving at him and attempted to run him off the road. He had gotten a license plate number; however, the plates did not come back with a vehicle match.
