Local Girl Scouts to hold vigil and service project for Chippewa Falls Troop 3055

MARSHFIELD – A candlelight vigil and community service project will be held Nov. 11 for Girl Scout Troop 3055 of Chippewa Falls in support of the three young girls and an adult troop leader who were killed Nov. 3 while participating in a service project.

During the event, cards will be collected and sent to Troop 3055.

In keeping with the Girl Scout tradition of community service, Girl Scout Troop 6181will also be collecting non-perishable food and winter clothing items to be donated to Soup or Socks, Marshfield.

The vigil and service project will take place in the Columbia Park Bandshell, 201 W. Arnold St., Marshfield, Nov. 11 at 3 p.m.
