MARSHFIELD – Marshfield Parks & Recreation Director Justin Casperson was recently awarded with the Wisconsin Park and Recreation Association (WPRA) George Wilson Service Award.

Casperson has been a member of WPRA for the 19 years, serving first as the Parks and Recreation director for the village of Germantown, before coming to Marshfield.

Justin has served on the WPRA Board of Directors as secretary/treasurer, served on conference committees, served on the Aquatic Section Board of Directors as chair and a member-at-large, was a Membership Services Survey Task Force member, and a Playground In-Service coordinator.

Locally, Justin is on the Marshfield Area Community Foundation Board of Directors and has been a United Way campaign chair for the past four years.
