MARSHFIELD – United States Senator Ron Johnson made a stop in Marshfield to speak with local leaders on the economy, unemployment, and the labor shortage in a forum held Oct. 31 in the Forward Bank Community Room.
Senator Johnson spoke for about five minutes before addressing questions from a little over 30 business and community leaders in attendance.
Johnson addressed questions on immigration, the trade wars, homeland security, healthcare, students loan rates, technical education, border control, and road work during his hour-long visit.
He also made stops in Neillsville and Eau Claire that day.
Johnson said this will be his last term in office.
