October 24
Missing money
At 6:04 p.m., a 56-year-old Marshfield woman called to report that sometime in the past 10 days, she believes that her roommate and family member, a 61-year-old Marshfield woman, took coins from her worth $130. Investigation is ongoing.
October 25
Can’t drive without your headlights
At 9:11 p.m., an employee of a Marshfield department store reported a theft. He stated the suspect was also the same suspect listed earlier that morning in another open theft case. The suspect took two headlights and an FM transmitter.
October 26
Teenager found with drugs
At 9:03 p.m., a Marshfield Police officer performed a traffic stop and a K-9 officer alerted to the presence of controlled substances within in the vehicle. After a search of the vehicle, contraband was located. A 13-year-old Marshfield male was taken to the Marshfield Police Department and later turned over to his parent.
October 27
Man arrested for theft
At 1:40 p.m. a Marshfield store employee witnessed a 39-year-old Marshfield man removing merchandise from its original containers and then concealing it in a jacket he was wearing. The man then left the store without paying for the concealed merchandise. The store employee followed the man as he ran into another nearby store. Police were able to locate the man and charges are being requested through the Marathon County DA.
October 28
Marshfield man barred from establishment
At 1:10 a.m., Marshfield Police responded to a Marshfield bar and arrested a man who yelled at bar employees. The man had been previously warned to stay out of the establishment. Disorderly conduct charges have been requested.
