MARSHFIELD – Marshfield High School Drama Club will present a forerunner to an old classic on Nov. 9-10, as they assemble a cast for “Peter and the Starcatcher.”

“Peter and the Starcatcher is kind of the prequel to the well-known story of Peter Pan,” said cast member, Riya Bolander. “It takes some of the most influential characters – like Peter and Hook – and it shows how they got to Neverland, and develops their characters some more.”

The play overthrows the century-old tale of the forlorn orphan who never grew up. As unlikely relationships are born and greed and despair are explored, the friendship, love, and the duty to each, come alive.

The Drama Club will offer three shows – Nov. 9 at 7:30 p.m. and Nov. 10 at 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available at showtix4u.com.

For more information, call 715-387-8464.
