MARSHFIELD — Security Health Plan of Wisconsin, Inc., has named Marty Anderson chief growth officer and Angela Kissinger chief compliance officer.

Anderson was previously serving as Security Health Plan’s chief marketing officer and Kissinger was chief government and compliance officer at Security Health Plan. Both individuals have extensive experience with the organization and this reformulation will contribute to increased service excellence and strength.

These leadership changes ensure Security Health Plan is prepared to flex with industry demands and changes.

“With external forces putting increased pressure on our business, the changes we are making will bolster our strengths. We are positioning ourselves to remain competitive and to achieve our strategic goals,” Security Health Plan chief executive officer Julie Brussow said.

Anderson will be responsible for leading product development, marketing, communications, sales, government programs and health policy efforts. Anderson holds a master of business administration degree from Capella University in addition to his bachelor’s degree in communications from University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. He has been an integral part Security Health Plan since 2006, serving as director of consumer products and marketing manager, in addition to chief marketing officer.

“In an increasingly competitive market, with new alliances and joint ventures being made at an accelerating rate we need to ensure that Security Health Plan is positioned for growth both now and in the future. I’m excited to take on that challenge with the strong team of dedicated people at the health plan,” Anderson said.

Kissinger’s new role focuses on increasing demands from regulatory agencies and partners with Marshfield Clinic Health System leadership working in compliance, security, enterprise risk, and internal audit.

“With a dynamic regulatory environment, it’s vital that compliance be a critical focus of business,” Kissinger said.

Kissinger joined Security Health Plan in 2011 as corporate compliance officer. She received her bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from the University of Minnesota. She has experience with both regional and national health plans.
