ROSEVILLE, CA – Stratford’s Derek Kraus, a 17-year-old NASCAR Next driver, was sidelined at All American Speedway on Oct. 13 in the NAPA AutoCare/Roseville Toyota 200.
Kraus qualified seventh in the No. 16 NAPA AUTO PARTS Toyota Camry and was making his way to the front early on when contact from another car sidelined him for repairs through much of the race. He returned late in the event, but ended up finishing 15th.
Kraus is fourth in NASCAR K&N Pro Series West standings. He leads the series this season with three wins and five poles, along with seven top-five and nine top-10 finishes.
The Roseville race is slated to be televised on NBCSN on Oct. 18.
The next event on the K&N Pro Series West schedule will be the season finale NAPA AUTO PARTS 175 at Kern County Raceway Park near Bakersfield, CA, on Oct. 27.
