Madison and Nasonville students celebrate Tiger pride

MARSHFIELD – Students at Nasonville and Madison elementary schools put their school pride on display, during a school-wide fun run/walk held Sept. 27-28.

Marshfield Physical Education teacher Jason Eckes said the run was designed to “add excitement to Homecoming Day and promote Marshfield Tiger awareness.

“The idea behind the Fun Run is simply that: to have a fun time running outside, to challenge themselves, and do their best. We (did) have little awards for top finishers, but students are encouraged to just see how far they can jog without walking. We want to promote movement in any way we can, and this is a good kick off to the year and our way of showing support for Homecoming.”

The run/walk took place on school grounds with the social and awards program following the event.
