MARSHFIELD – Shirley’s House of Hope will host its 10th annual Marshfield Iron Chef Silent & Live Auction on Nov. 8.

Each month, Shirley’s House of Hope receives an average of 10 calls from women in need of emergency and program shelter due to domestic violence. Over the past eight years, Shirley’s House of Hope has rebuilt, renewed, and restored lives of over 400 women and children hurting from domestic violence.

Financial support is provided through compassionate donors in the community and through fundraising efforts such as the Iron Chef.

This year’s event – “An Evening with the King of Kings”—will be held on Nov. 8 at 5:30 p.m. at RiverEdge Golf Course.  Enjoy an evening of competition between:  Chef Steve – Blue Heron Brew Pub, Chef Ron – The Vintage House, Chef Adam – Holiday Inn, and Chef Wally – Libby McNeill’s/Hotel Marshfield.

Guests will sample and vote on the chef’s appetizers to determine who wins the People’s Choice Award.  An award winning meal will be prepared by Chef Steve Tollers.
