MARSHFIELD – The water feature at the Wenzel Family Plaza on the 200 block of Marshfield’s Chestnut Avenue is scheduled to close for the season on Oct. 1.

“I want to thank everyone involved with the creation of the water feature and all the residents and visitors that came by day after day throughout the summer and fall and having a blast using it,” said Wenzel Plaza Coordinator Mark Davis.

While an official reopening date for the water feature has not been scheduled, early talks set a potential opening after Memorial Day weekend.

The plaza remains open to the public throughout the year.
