LeRoy A Binder

Age 77, of Marshfield, passed away at his residence on Thursday, August 30, 2018 surrounded by his family.

His funeral service will be held at 4PM on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at Life Tributes Funeral Home in Spencer with Deacon Ray Draeger presiding.  Family and friends are invited to gather on Thursday at the funeral from 2PM until time of services.  LeRoy will be laid to rest in Corpus Christi Cemetery in Bakerville. The honor of pallbearer will belong to Joshua Fick, Michael Grancorvitz, Alex Bump, Angus Bump, Josh Rapin, Jackson Binder, Harlin Sternitzky and Pat Sternitzky.

LeRoy was born on February 13, 1941 in Marshfield to Joseph and Eleanor (Goldbach) Binder. He attended grade school in Bakerville and one year at Columbus High School in Marshfield.  Early on LeRoy hauled milk for local farmers.  He was employed by a pipeline company and owned and operated a dairy farm in rural Marshfield.  His hobbies included deer hunting, partridge hunting, cutting firewood, and especially loved just being in the woods.

LeRoy is survived by his children: Neal (Jill Bump) Binder of Marshfield, Kathy (Marty) Mancl of Spencer and Nick (Heather) Binder of Arpin; his grandchildren: Chris, Kirsten, Alex, Angus, Morgan, Bobbi Jo, Jonni-rae, Jordan, Jackson, and James; great-grandchildren: Kaydence, Phoenix, and Georgia; his brother, Jerome Binder of Green Bay; his two sisters: Margie Willhelm of Marshfield, and Carol (Glen) Phillips of Hatfield.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Elenore, and his wife, Evelyn.

In lieu of flowers, the family is accepting memorials in LeRoy’s name for a charity to be determined.
