Thomas (Tom) G. Bell age 67, of Omro, formerly of Spencer, passed away peacefully Wednesday, August 29 at his home with family at his side.

Memorial Services will be held at 3:00pm Sunday, September 2, 2018 at Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home in Marshfield. A visitation will be held from 1:00pm until time of service on Sunday, September 2, 2018 at the funeral home.

Tom was born on March 10, 1951, in Marshfield, the son of Harold and Ruth Bell. He graduated from Marshfield High School in 1970.  Tom married the love of his life Patty Petersen on August 18, 1973 at Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Marshfield. They were blessed with two wonderful children, Jason and Jody; three grandchildren, Jaysa, Austin and Abby and one great-granddaughter, Jayla, whom all meant the world to Tom.

Tom was a jack of all trades, specializing in building custom kitchen cabinets. He could fix just about anything and especially loved woodworking and creating beautiful pieces for his daughter. He enjoyed coaching youth basketball, as well as stock car racing and demolition derbies with his son and brothers. He most certainly enjoyed his daily sheepshead playing with his friends at the Nutz Deep in Spencer. Tom and Patty enjoyed spending time together at their home away from home in Tomahawk; fishing, sitting by the campfire and playing the slot machines til wee hours of the night. Tom enjoyed watching the Brewers, Packers and Badgers, but those that knew him well, knew that there was nothing more important to him than watching his grandkids in their sporting events. There was rarely a game Papa Tom would miss!

Tom is lovingly survived by his wife Patty of 45 years and by his children Jason (Lisa) Bell of Forney, TX; Jody (Jason) Jennerman of Oshkosh. He is also survived by three grandchildren; Jaysa Bell, Austin and Abby Jennerman and one great-granddaughter, Jayla Bell.

He is further survived by his brothers Ken Bell of Fond du Lac, Harry (Diann) Bell of Marshfield, and brothers in law, Bob (Bev) Kloos and Wes Bonnett both of Fond du Lac. Sisters Sherri Bell of Madison, Mary (Mike) Olson of Hustisford, sister in law Janet Bell of Marshfield, and mother in law Betty Petersen.

Tom was predeceased by his parents, two sisters Joan (Frankwick) Kloos and Sandy (Bell) Bonnett, two brothers David Frankwick and John Bell, Sr. and nephew David Kloos.

The family would like to express special thanks to the compassionate Aurora Hospice Staff. Thank you to all for your prayers, support and love. Tom will be greatly missed by so many!
