NEILLSVILLE —  A hemp store has opened in the city of Neillsville.

The store is an entity of the Cannabis Cultivators of Clark County, based out of Greenwood, which is licensed to grow and process industrial hemp through the Industrial Hemp Pilot Research Program, which was passed by law in the State of Wisconsin in Dec. 2017.

The store is the second in the central Wisconsin area, with one opening in Black River Falls in April.

The Neillsville store opened Aug. 9 on the corner of Fifth and Hewett Street and sells products, such as: hemp cigarettes and flowers, CBD hash and lotions, body creams, and lip balm.
