Local youth show at Wisconsin State Fair

WEST ALLIS – Nearly four dozen youth spent some time in the Milwaukee area, while showing cattle at the Wisconsin State Fair in West Allis.

A total of 43 youth from Clark and Wood counties, ages 12-19, exhibited cattle in conjunction with animal-based youth organizations, such as 4-H and FFA.

Wood County had a good representation at the fair with 27 Wood County kids showing 39 cattle, while Clark County had 16 youth showing 25 animals.

The Wisconsin State Fair runs Aug. 2-12, at State Fair Park in West Allis.
