Dolores R. Phaneuf, 93, Marshfield, passed away on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Marshfield Medical Center.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at St. John’s Catholic Church, Marshfield, where the family will receive relatives and friends from 9:30 am until service time. Rev. Samuel Martin will officiate. Burial will take place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Marshfield, at a later date.

Dolores was born on April 28, 1925 in Lublin, to Arthur and Stella (Allain) Foltz and was a graduate of Abbotsford High School. She was united in marriage to Warren J. Phaneuf on June 20, 1946 at Christ the King Catholic Church, Spencer. He died on April 24, 1999.

Dolores had been employed for the United States Postal Service and then at LaMere Photography in Marshfield. She was instrumental in the formation of St. Vincent DePaul Thrift Store in Marshfield where she worked as manager for many years.

Dolores enjoyed traveling with her husband to visit their children as well as trips to the casino with her son, Jon. She also was an avid gardener and enjoyed interior decorating, painting and wallpapering. She loved a good ice cream cone on a hot day. She had a very strong faith.

She is survived by her children, Jeffrey (Ruth Ann) Phaneuf of West Bend, Jon Phaneuf of Marshfield, Michelle (Santiago Vigil) Billet of Pueblo West, CO, Joel Phaneuf of Marshfield, Jay Phaneuf of Omaha, NE, and Cheryl (Tom) Keene of Stevens Point. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and 2 sisters, Bonnie (Jack) Hansen and Allain (Cliff) Kademan.
