John D. Huebl Sr., 71, Marshfield, passed away on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at his home.

The family will receive relatives and friends from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Monday, July 9, 2018, at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield.

John was born on July 12, 1946 in Marshfield, to John M. and Betty (George) Huebl and was a graduate of Marshfield Senior High School. He married Harriet J. Weber on June 5, 1978 in Waukegan, IL. She died on January 24, 1998.

John was employed at Weyerhaeuser Company in Marshfield, which later became Marshfield Door Systems, until his retirement.

He is survived by his children, Jean (Frank) Hardy of Crossville, TN, John (Pamela) Huebl of Marshfield and Lynn (Dan) Oliver of Spencer. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Crystal Dunbar, Courtney Barnacz, Stacy Horban, Kelly Klawitter, Jonathon Huebl and Destiny Lange and 4 great grandchildren, Sierra Horban, Braxton Klawitter, Taysom Klawitter and Malia Jones. He is further survived by 3 brothers and 3 sisters, Tom (Kathy) Huebl, Larry “Butch” Huebl, Peggy (Ben) Brooks, Susan Adler, Nancy, and Paul Huebl.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
