LaMyra L. Weinfurtner, 93, Marshfield, died on Sunday, June 10, 2018 at House of the Dove, Marshfield.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at St. John’s Catholic Church, Marshfield, with Rev. Samuel Martin officiating. Burial will take place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. The visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Wednesday at Rembs Funeral Home and from 9:30 am until service time at St. John’s Catholic Church. St. John’s Parish Council of Catholic Women rosary service will be held at 4:00 pm on Wednesday at the funeral home.

LaMyra was born on April 7, 1925 in the Town of Green Grove, Clark County, to Halvor and Meta (Miller) Becken and was a 1942 graduate of Owen High School. She was united in marriage to Louis F. Weinfurtner on June 27, 1945 at St. John’s Catholic Church, Marshfield. He died on April 6, 2012.

Myra was a longtime member of St. John’s Catholic Church and the Parish Council of Catholic Women. Her greatest joys were dancing, reading, baking and playing cards.

She is survived by her children, Michael Weinfurtner of Marshfield, Jeffrey (Laura) Weinfurtner of Spokane Valley, WA, Rita (Rodney) Schmitt of Green Bay and Carol Weinfurtner of Minneapolis. She is also survived by six grandchildren. She is further survived by two sisters, Jacinta “Sandy” Fredrickson and Joyce (Laverne) Kauffman, all of Marshfield, and a brother Halver “Sonny” (Sandy) Becken of Milwaukee.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis, a daughter, Nancy Heinrichs, a sister, Gloria Bedrosian and a brother, Percy Becken.
