Donald A. Lee, 90, Vesper, died at his home on Monday June 4, 2018.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, June 11, 2018 at Buchanan/Rembs Funeral Home, Pittsville, with Lyle Ott officiating.  A visitation will be held from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm on Sunday, June 10, 2018 and from 9:00 am until the time of service on Monday at Buchanan/Rembs Funeral home.  Burial will take place at Mound Cemetery will full military honors conducted by the American Legion Post #153 of Pittsville.

Donald was born on April 10, 1928 and was adopted at birth by Otto & Lucy (Jones) Lee.  He graduated from New Lisbon High school and following graduation he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. He served in the Marine Corps from 1946-1948 and was stationed in San Francisco where he met and married Lenore Rives. They later divorced. After his honorable discharge from the Marines, he worked on the family farm in New Lisbon.  He then moved to the Vesper area around 1950.  He met and later married Edna (Gachnang) Adams on June 27, 1953 in Dubuque Iowa. She passed away on September 10, 1999.

Don worked at Consolidated Papers until he left to go to work at Wisconsin Valley Concrete for 40 years before retiring in 1990.  After his retirement, he drove bus for the Wood County Head Start program for 23 more years. Don also Worked for the Town of Hansen for 19 years, retiring in May 2018 after suffering a stroke.

Don is Survived by his daughter Linda (Robert) Zvolena, his son Don (Heidi) Lee, and step-daughter Kathy Adams. He is also survived by grandchildren, Lisa, Becky (Lyle Ott), Robin (Ryan Geiger), Brianna (Jared Moore), Destiny, Kayla, Leslie (Chad Schneeberger). Great-grandchildren, Hannah, Calleigh, Cadence, Peyton, Corbin, Brandon, McKenna, Aubray.

He was predeceased by his parents, both wives, daughters Lucy, Rosemary and Tori, step daughter Sandra, and grandson Steve.
