Pittsville — Former District 8 Wood County Board Supervisor Brad Kremer has announced his candidacy for Wood County clerk of courts.

Kremer attended Pittsville High School and the UW-River Falls, studying Business Administration and Chemistry.

Brad and his wife Nicole are lifelong Wood County residents. Along with their two boys, Cole and Gunnar, they own and operate the family’s dairy, beef, and grain farm in the town of Wood.

After graduating from Pittsville High School, Brad was called to serve and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. Upon completing his service he returned to Wood County, where he started a construction business.

Brad has a passion for children and volunteers his time coaching youth sports. More recently, Brad was elected as chairman of the board for the school at Altenburg’s farm. This has allowed him to bring his business and farming expertise together to support area youth.

He is the past president of the Wisconsin Soybean Association and Wisconsin’s national director on the American Soybean Association Board of Directors.
